Colossians 3:23
23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving

I wake up everyday, drink some coffee, eat breakfast and off to work. Many jobs that I’ve had over the years were repetitive and mundane. I would often question my life and wondered if there was more to my life. I saw my life as boring and with no meaning. Have you ever felt this way?  The everyday ordinary things of life can be a real struggle and discouragement.

Have you ever thought about who you really work for?  Have you ever considered that each day you go to work that you are working for God?  Let us go beyond just where we work but examine everything you do.  Waking up, taking out the trash, doing dishes, singing, laughing, “whatever you do,” you should do it as doing it directly for God with everything you have.  Don’t let the ordinary, repetitive, mundane of life get you down.  You serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!  When you lay down to sleep tonight ask yourself how have you served God today?  Ask yourself did I serve Jesus with all my heart today?  Serving God each day with all our heart will erase the mundane of life every time we do.
